This year my fourth graders really struggled with the steps of long division. That is, until they learned this song that I wrote to a familiar melody.
After singing this a few times as they marched around the playground, they all know the steps fluently!

I teach kindergarten in a private Christian K-12 school so I don't want to bore you with all the songs I know. I guess my favorite is an alphabet song that teaches the children the letter sounds and how to recognize them. They love singing it!
ReplyDeletethat is really cool. my son had an excellent teach that taught creatively through song and otherwise...i think it makes it memorable for the kids...and those teachers wil always be remembered as well...
